Terms of Service

Zero Tolerance Policy: PhiliFUR reserves the right to permanently ban any individual (including attendees, vendors, and staff) who engages in harassment, provokes conflict, causes physical or emotional discomfort, damages the venue, or interferes with official staff duties. This rule overrides all others.

1. GENERAL RULES

  • PG-13 Environment: The convention and all public displays are rated PG-13.
  • Mutual Respect: Attendees must maintain respect for others. Do not engage in behavior that makes others uncomfortable.
  • Consent: Explicit verbal consent is required for any physical interaction (e.g., hugging, head pats, or touching).
  • Liability: PhiliFUR is not liable for items lost that are not communicated with the convention operations.
  • Credentials: Valid, untampered badges or wristbands are required for entry. Lost or damaged credentials must be repurchased at full price.
  • Illegal Acts: Theft and vandalism are strictly prohibited and will be handled by security or local authorities.

2. MERCHANDISE & VENDORS

  • No AI Content: The sale of AI-generated content, workflows, or products is strictly prohibited.
  • NSFW/18+ Materials: Adult materials must not be displayed publicly.
    • Sales are permitted only "under the counter" upon request.
  • Age Verification Protocol:
    • Attendees wishing to purchase 18+ materials must submit a valid government ID to the merchant for an age check.
    • Merchants are strictly prohibited from recording, photographing, or storing any information from the attendee's ID.
    • ID information must be used solely for the purpose of immediate age verification.

3. DRESS CODE & DECENCY

  • Appropriate Attire: Clothing must be suitable for a minor-friendly environment. Prohibited items include:
    • Sexually explicit or fetish-related gear.
    • Excessively revealing clothing or exposed undergarments.
  • Collars & Harnesses: Allowed as fashion only. Sexualized mannerisms (e.g., being pulled/led) are prohibited.
  • Leashes: The wearer must hold their own lead at all times. Others are not permitted to hold or pull an attendee's leash.
  • Pre-Approval: If you are unsure about your attire, contact [email protected] or open a Discord ticket.

4. WEAPONS, ALCOHOL, & DRUGS

  • Substances: Alcohol, illicit substances, and non-prescription drugs are prohibited. Intoxicated individuals will be denied entry or evicted.
  • Weapons Policy: Firearms, ammunition, and functional weapons (including Nerf, Airsoft, and sharpened blades) are banned.
  • Prop Security: All props must be checked by security. Ammunition found will be confiscated until the end of the event. Refusal to comply will result in eviction.

5. MINOR POLICY (Under 18)

  • Supervision: Attendees under 15 must be accompanied by a legal guardian at all times.
  • 16-17 Year Olds: Permitted without companions but must provide written consent from a legal guardian upon entry.

6. TICKETING & REFUNDS

  • Final Sale: All ticket and booth pass sales are considered final.
  • No Refunds: Refunds will not be issued for any reason, including but not limited to no-shows or removals due to rule violations.

7. PRIVACY & MEDIA (DPA 2012)

  • Data Collection: In compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012, PhiliFUR collects personal information solely for registration, security, and mandatory age-verification.
  • Data Subject Rights: You maintain the right to access, correct, or request the deletion of your personal data held by the convention.
  • Media Consent: By entering the event, you grant PhiliFUR permission to use your likeness in photographs and videos for marketing, promotional, and documentation purposes.
